Our client, a global commercial insurance company, is seeking a Lead Full Stack .Net developer for a contract to hire position in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey. The Full Stack Development Lead will be responsible for leading end-to-end IT delivery of system and process changes for new and existing functionality within the commercial marketplace and underlying Policy Administration systems, other downstream applications, internal and external integrations for multi distributionchannels. This role will require the candidate to manage a development portfolio of agile teams and deliver benefits such as improved agent/customer experience, product and appetite expansion, application platform optimization, increased operational effectiveness and delivery of financial results. This role will be a partner with business architecture and enterprise architecture team to define optimum application and solution architecture to meet current and future commercial marketplace needs Scope/Responsibilities Lead end-to-end IT for development and implementation of system and process changes for new and existing functionality within the web-based market place, integration layers and underlying Policy Administration & Corporate systems. Work with internal partners across Client such as Business, Operations, IT, Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, HR and external vendor partner groups as required by the project/program to align schedules, resources and budgets as needed for the project delivery and to identify and resolve barriers to drive orchestrated execution. Participate in defining technical solution architecturein conjunction with business architecture and enterprise architecture team; reviews of proposed solutions are conducted appropriately leveraging the Enterprise Architecture Group. Communicate regularly in accordance with agreed upon communications plan. Expected to lead, guide, and coach developers and have hands on coping expertise to code in Marketplace platform technologies. Implement and adhere coding standards and improve coding quality working with development team Prepare and deliver formal technical presentations on project and status for business and technology leadership. Enable transition from an iterative Waterfall to an Agile-based operating model. Determine the right sourcing model depending on the type of project/program, and manage SOW contractual commitments with vendor partners. Participated in research emerging technologies to drive innovative approaches into our implementation. Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Strong software engineering background and experience managing engineering teams required. At least 10 years of experience in managing multiple, concurrent medium to large cross-functional teams or projects. At least 5-10 years of hands on technical / coding experience in Microsoft technology stack, C#, .AngularJs, Bootstrap, Java Script, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML5, HTML, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, WCF As many as possible of the following: Net Core, CSS, PHP, Python, XML, XSLT, XPath, Entity Framework, LINQ, Azure, AWS Cloud, Microservices,TFS, Git,SonarQube and AppDynamics, Experience in enabling Agile transformation/implementation in medium to large projects/programs is required. Insurance background required; experience in Commercial Lines platform/systems implementation. Ability to motivate team members and effectively delegate responsibilities to ensure timely delivery. Strong vendor management and vendor relationships experience to continuously understand how the tooling and services marketplace will evolve. Proven ability to manage to program budgets.
